NC State needs a new basketball coach. We need someone who knows the ACC: the coaches, players, the "system," and
we need someone who is in-tune with North Carolina High School athletics. We also need someone who is a top-notch recruiter.
Phil Ford meets all of these criteria.

We, as State fans, were willing to accept Less (no, that's not a typo) Robinson and little Herbie Sendek. So, let's
forget about Phil Ford's alma mater and get down to business.
- First, we need to admit that we're all obsessed with beating Carolina. We are, period.
- Next, we need to ask ourselves who will give us a better chance to beat "The Carolina Way" in the years to come?
Whit or Phil?
- I think we all know the answer to that.
